How many trees will fit on a trailer?
Trees are complicated to load. Some trees stack well, other do not. B&B can be heavy, containers are less heavy. The freight cost is dependent on the combination of products you order. It is our goal to minimize the shipping cost. Tell us what you want to order and we will quote a freight cost. Most of the year, we can do “less than trailer-load” deliveries anywhere between Myrtle Beach, SC and Boston, MA.
The quantity per load varies with the width and length of the tree canopy and weight of the rootballs (precipitation adds weight). Deliveries in refrigerated trailers can be arranged. Less trees will fit in a dry van or refrigerated unit than a flatbed. We can schedule delivery on 48′ to 53′ tractor-trailers (flatbeds, vented vans, or refrigerated), 40′ goosenecks, 24′ single-axle flatbeds, or 24′ or 26′ box trucks.
